2025 Santa Visits on the Lowell Showboat VI
Saturday, December 6 – Christmas Festivities & Night-Time Santa Parade.
- Santa Visits on the Showboat from 2 PM to 4 PM. Hot cocoa and cookies in the Chamber, sponsored by LMCU-Lowell.
- Additional activities throughout the day include the 39th Annual Fine Art & Makers Market at the Lowell High School, library book sale, live nativity at Heidi’s Farmstand, Rudolph’s Craft Workshop with Curiosity Corner, and a pancake supper to benefit Lowell’s Open Table. - The Annual Night-Time Santa Parade starts at 6 PM. Sponsored by Miss P’s Catering. Parade theme: A Storybook Christmas. The parade steps off from S Broadway St and heads east on Main St, ending at the Lowell United Methodist Church.
Wednesday, December 10 – Santa Visits from 4:30 PM to 7 PM, Sponsored by Litehouse Family YMCA
Friday, December 12 – Nite of Cheer, Santa Visits from 4 PM to 7:30 PM. All other activities including cocoa & cookies in the Chamber are from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. See flyer image below.
Saturday, December 13 – Santa Visits from 10 AM to 1 PM, Sponsored by Lowell Rotary
Wednesday, December 17 – Santa Visits from 4:30 PM to 7 PM, Sponsored by Fish & Finn/This That Other
Saturday, December 20 – Santa Visits from 10 AM to 1 PM, Sponsored by J&K Roadside Assistance
Notice for Santa Visits:
- The line to visit Santa is outdoors. Please dress accordingly.
- Depending on the size of the line, the line to see Santa will close roughly 30 minutes prior to the posted end time. Longer lines require an earlier closure to adhere to Santa’s busy schedule this time of year.
- Your photo will not be printed. Photos will be available on Facebook and/or you may take your own.
- Suggested $2 donation.
- Event dates/times are subject to change. Please check the Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page before heading out.
2025 Annual Night-Time Santa Parade

PARADE NOTES for today, Saturday, December 6:
- No parking on Main Street after 4 PM. Let’s make sure all our kiddos get a great view of the parade.
- Parade line-up is at Recreation Park (former fairgrounds) from 4:45 -5:45 PM. We’ll begin moving at 5:55 PM.
- Main Street will close at 5:45 PM, from Hudson/Main to Jackson/Main (from Shell to the Methodist Church). Arrive early. Enjoy the Social District and the shops while you’re here.
- The Annual Night-Time Santa Parade, “A Storybook Christmas, sponsored by Miss P’s Catering, starts at 6 PM.
