Enjoy a leisurely stroll through beautiful, historic Lowell and explore the Autumn Marketplace along Main Street and the Riverwalk. You’ll find a bountiful gathering of crafts, repurposed treasures, home-grown food, concessions and great restaurants.
While you’re here, enjoy the Chili Cook Off! Tasting and judging will happen from 1 PM to 4 PM (while chili supplies last) and requires a wristband to sample. MAXIMUM OF 300 WRISTBANDS AVAILABLE. Wristbands will be sold to the public for $10 each at the Chamber office at 113 Riverwalk Plaza.
Free parking and lots of fun for the whole family! This is a rain or shine event – please dress accordingly.
CHILI COOK-OFF FOR CHARITY – ENTER TODAY!
As part of Lowell’s Harvest Celebration, area residents, organizations, clubs, and restaurants are invited to join the Chili Cook-off. Participating restaurants will serve chili in front of their establishments and public participants will set-up along the Riverwalk in spots assigned by the Chamber. The Cook-off winner will receive bragging rights, a trophy to keep, LowellBucks, and will be determined by popular vote.
In addition to a trophy and bragging rights, $500 will be awarded to a local, Lowell area nonprofit of the winner’s choosing (or a nonprofit Lowell Area Chamber Member in good standing)!

CRAFTERS, ARTISTS, MAKERS & COMMERCIAL VENDORS
The Autumn Marketplace will run from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday, October 11. Vendors will be assigned a spot on the sidewalk adjacent to Main Street or along the riverwalk. The cost to participate is $50 per 10×10 booth space.
Harvest Hustle 5K Run/Walk – Provided by Lowell Community Wellness
A staple event during Harvest Celebration on Saturday, October 11, this is a family-stroller-pet friendly event. Lace up your shoes and get ready for the Harvest Hustle 5K Run / Walk.
The race will start at Impact Church (in the parking lot) at 8:30 AM and run along the Lowell Area Trailway, through both the North and South Grand River Riverfront Parks, and cross over the beautiful Lowell Wooden Footbridge. We are excited to showcase this beautiful part of Lowell.

Packet Pickup on Friday, October 10th, from 4:30-6 PM at Ivy Rehabilitation in Lowell, and the morning of the race, from 7:30-8:15am at the starting area.
Join us for the Harvest Celebration after party concert at the Sound Check Community Center!
Tickets will also be available at the door. However, space is limited, so purchasing in advance will ensure a seat. Sunchaser, formed in 2021, is a collaboration of seasoned local musicians from the West Michigan area, including two members from Lowell.
The 5-piece band plays a wide variety of musical styles including rock, country, blues, R&B and more. They play hit covers from the 60s, 70s, & 80s, by such notable artists as Eric Clapton, Bob Seger, The Eagles, CCR, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels, Dwight Yoakum, and The Rolling Stones, to mention a few. The eclectic song catalog also includes Motown covers of Marvin Gaye & The Capitols, as well as classic rock hits of Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, The Zombies, Linda Ronstadt, and The B52s.
